SEE BELOW. belts are warrantied to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of TEN YEARS of purchase (most products). This DOES NOT cover abuse on your part. We honestly try to work with our customers on any issues that may arise.  We are a small company and the bottom line is we will do whatever we can, but like everyone else we don't want our business to get taken advantage of.  If you are hard on items, they could last shorter than ten years.  We would recommend our non leather Hercules Belts if you are super hard on items or you work outside in the elements.

If your product is received with a workmanship or material defect, please contact us immediately for a replacement. Some products have a shorter warranty policy.  

WHAT IS COVERED? will cover any defects in materials and workmanship on products that they sell through their online web store. Please make sure you are ordering from us direct and not from a third party to receive our warranty. Scratches and other marks from normal use are not considered a defect and are not covered under warranty. Heavy use and abuse is not covered under warranty. Leather that has been soaked in sweat, oils, water, or any other liquids is harmful on leather and will void your warranty.  If you work outside and sweat gets soaked into the leather, we recommend cleaning the leather after with leather lotions and cleaners to keep it nice. 


Amazon orders are covered under warranty with a valid order number. You can search your past orders in your Amazon account to find the order ID number. We are unable to search by name or email since Amazon doesn't allow us access to this information so we would need the order ID.  eBay orders have a 90 day warranty policy since we are unable to keep track of past eBay orders past 90 days.


Ten (10) years from the date the product was purchased online unless stated otherwise for specific products. Some products such as VELCRO® belts come with a 90 day limited warranty. Money belts have a 3 year warranty. For money belts we can easily fix the outside stitching but are not able to replace the zipper on a money belt. Wallets and other item that are used harder have a shorter 3 year warranty policy.

We store customers purchases for at least 10 years but we recommend printing your invoice out for your records as well. 

If you are ordering for someone else or as a gift, please print an invoice off for their records so we can find the order in our system in the future. The original order number is helpful for us to find orders placed years ago.  We normally search by email address but sometimes recipients of gifts do not have this information.

The warranty covers all products shipped within the United States.  International orders are not covered due to high shipping rates and duties. All products are carefully inspected three separate times before they are shipped to you. Wholesale orders are not covered under warranty. We do not cover products sold by other vendors.


Within a reasonable amount of time after you return the product to us, we will repair any item found defective in material, construction or workmanship under normal use. This excludes damage from misuse or abuse. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal for a real leather belt. If the belt is no longer available and can not be repaired, we will offer a one time replace with the next closest product available in the same size returned. We can not warranty stiffness and straightness of leather products over time as real leather products will contour to your waist.

We use industrial strength VELCRO® which has a lifespan of approx. 3,500 to 10,000 openings and closings.  We offer a 90 day limited warranty to cover any defects in material and workmanship that may arise during this period. With everyday use you should expect approx. 1-1/2 to 5 years use out of the VELCRO® fastener, depending on how hard you are on belts. Replacing the VELCRO® on a belt is a very time consuming process and can be done for approx $25-35 (including labor/ return shipping).

We are unable to warranty scale loss on snake skin belts.  Normally snakes are very durable but due to the nature of snake skin, scale loss can happen if it gets caught on an item or you are hard on belts. 

We will not repair a product free of charge if it has been misused or damaged by an accident. This also includes damages stemming from acts of God, e.g., flood, tornado, earthquake or other catastrophic event, e.g., fire. Please note that any alteration to the product, unauthorized by Bullhide Belts, will void the warranty. This includes adding holes to the belt or resizing your belt. We will only replace a product with the exact same style, color, and size as originally ordered.  We are not able to replace a belt due to weight gain/loss. Hardware is not covered under warrant but is sold at cost on our website. Lost screws, keepers, and buckles are not covered under warranty. 

Normally the only time we get a warranty return is a stitching issue.  It is rare to have stitching come undone since we burn off the thread to seal it from unraveling.  If you have a stitching issue, you would simply ship it back for us to fix it. 

The customer must pay to send the product back to us. Please email us a picture of the issue along with your full name, shipping address, and order number if you have it. Email: and put "warranty issue" in the subject. We will write up a ticket and email you a Return Authorization Number to ship back your merchandise. NEVER SHIP BACK ITEMS WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST. We will still fix items past the 10 year warranty at the customers expense.  Typical issues can be fixed for $10-15 including labor and shipping back to you. Contact us for more details.
