How to replace our buckle with your own.

All of our belts come with high quality stainless or brass buckles.  We purchase our buckles by the thousands so there is no price difference if you don't need a buckle.  If you would like to change out our buckle for yours, simply follow the directions below.

Is the buckle you want to replace ours with stainless color?
- Then you need to order your belt with a Stainless Dress Buckle so your screws will be stainless to match and your holes will be standard size.

Is the buckle you want to replace ours with brass (gold) color?
- Then you need to order your belt with a Brass Dress Buckle so your screws will be brass to match and your holes will be standard size.

PLEASE NOTE: Belts made with a Roller, Paul Revere, or John Adams buckle have larger holes since the prong is thicker.  Most likely the buckle you are wanting to use has a standard prong, in this case you will want to order a stainless or brass dress buckle with your belt.

Directions to switch out buckles

Step One
We will be replacing the stainless roller buckle on this elephant hide belt with a stainless Paul Revere buckle. You can also use your own similar style buckle.

Step Two
Use a dime or screw driver to unscrew the two Chicago screw type fasteners. Use your finger to hold the front side of the screw. If you have trouble, wrap sticky tape around your finger to hold the smooth side of the screw.

Step Three
Slide out the current buckle and replace it with your own buckle. Make sure the correct side is facing the front.

Step Four
Close the flap making sure the keeper is located between the two Chicago screw holes. Place the screws back in the holes and use the dime or screw driver to tighten the screws. Use your finger to hold the front side of the screw.  If you are not changing screw colors, you don't have to take them completely out.

Step Five
Finished!
Approx. time to change buckle is 3-4 minutes.
