Genuine Black Horse Hide Belt

Our horsehide belts are made exclusively in our custom leather shop. We take the toughest horse hides we can get from our US tannery and craft a stiff two layer belt that is ready to take on the toughest jobs. As a casual belt or a gun belt, horsehide will last for many years. The top layer is hand-dyed premium horsehide and the bottom layer is our premium cowhide. Together they make a 14 ounce (approx. 1/4" thick) leather two layer belt sewn with heavy-duty nylon thread that is the same as our heavy duty horse bridles and harnesses. This belt will not stretch or fold over. Horsehide is one of the toughest leathers we can get in the US. It has a smooth finish with fine grain lines that break up the smooth surface.
